The Parks & Recreation Department Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 A.M. to 12 P.M. and 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. The purpose of the Allegany Recreation and Parks Department is to provide leisure services and programs for the Allegany Community.

You may call the office (716-373-1540) weekdays to inquire what programs and/or activities are currently being offered. Park rentals are also handled through this office..
Department Functions & Responsibilities:
Offer approximately 100 programs each year on a quarterly seasonal schedule.
Managing and operation of a Recreation/Youth Center, Senior Center, Community Parks, and the Allegany High School Gymnasium.
Schedule all pavilions, sports leagues, games, reunions, organizations, and group events/functions.
Service the 60 Plus Club.
