Local Elections
Town elections were held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 6:00 AM until 9:00 PM. One two year term position for Supervisor, Two four year term positions for Town Council, One four year term position for Town Justice and One four year term position for Town Highway Superintendent were voted on by Allegany voters.

The candidates seeking positions for Town Supervisor, Town Council, Town Justice and Town Highway Superintendent were as follows:
Town Supervisor - 2 year term (vote for one)
- Write-In - 7 Votes
- *Patrick H. Eaton - D, C, I - 599 Votes
- John Hare - R - 921 Votes
- 1,527 Total Votes Cast
Town Council - 4-year term (vote for two)
- *Ray Jonak, D - 597 Votes
- David Koebelin - R, C, I - 1,124 Votes
- Dave O’Dell - D, C, I - 1,154 Votes
- 2,875 Total Votes Cast
Town Justice - 4-year term (vote for one)
- Write-In - 1 Vote Cast
- *Alan Spears - D - 1,174 Votes
- 1,175 Total Votes Cast
Town Highway Superintendent - 4-year term (vote for one)
- Write-In - 2 Votes
- *Rodney Gleason - D, R, C, I - 1,426 Votes
- 1,428 Total Votes Cast
An asterisk (*) denotes Incumbents - R is for Republican candidate, D is for Democratic candidate, C is for Conservative candidate and I is for Independant candidate.
