Allegany Rescue & EMS (AREMS) Facebook Page

Allegany Rescue & EMS (AREMS) is a not-for-profit organization under the IRS rule 501(c) (3) . Our purpose is to serve the Allegany community and surrounding area with the best quality pre-hospital emergency care. AREMS has been independent since 2011 and has letters of incorporation registered with New York State. We operate on a volunteer basis and we are financed through billing services and donations.

We do not receive any tax remuneration.

We have the latest up-to-date medical equipment which has been certified by the State of New York. All of our first responders have participated in New York State certified schools and have passed a skills assessment test as well as a state written exam, and all of our EMTs are state certified.

We provide emergency services for the village and town of Allegany, St. Bonaventure University campus students and staff, and assist several surrounding areas where we provide mutual aid.
